Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. (Hebrew 13:2)
I don’t know whether you would believe me that Angels can indeed appear in flesh and interact with you.
Let me humbly share with you my experience.
Back in my student days, in the year 2010, I struggled financially and also stress out with the balance of University’s studies and Ministry.
One day, after a tough morning at work, study and trying to balance my expenses. I drove to my University carpark, I found out that I did not have cash to pay for my parking fees that cost AUD$10 for the 3 hours.
So I called my brother-in-Christ; Timothy to come save me.
As I was standing next to my car, while waiting, a caucasian brunette guy with well-maintained beard came out among the parked vehicles, then he walked towards me.
In my spirit, I felt something was unusual while he walk towards me, as he draw close. He asked: “Hi, I saw you standing, is there anything I can help you with?”
In Brisbane, it is rare anyone who is not your friend would come towards you to offer help. So to me this situation was a surprise.
So I answered him: “It is good, I am waiting for my friend to come pay for my parking fees, he is on his way. I can wait for him here.”
But this man, who somewhat has figure like the bible times, he had brown clear iris, curly & short Brunette hair, and well-maintained short, bushy beard, in stripes working clothes.
I thought in my mind, is he an ‘Angel in Flesh’?
Next, he took his wallet out and walk to the carpark machine to pay for my carpark tickets. I walk behind him trying to stop him for paying for me, since we are not friends and I have never met him. With AUD$10 we can buy a whole box of Kripsy Krepe Donuts!
After he had paid, he handed me the ticket. I asked him for his contact number or office contact number (If its inconvenient for him to pass me his personal mobile phone) or an email to return him the money.
He just replied: “It’s ok.” I tried inviting him to our lifegroup as it is just up the building. He replied: “It’s ok.”
Then he walked away, as I saw him walking out of the exit door and my friend Timothy walk in at the same time from the same exit.
I asked Timothy: “Did you see anyone walk out as you walk in?”
Timothy replied: “No, I see no one, what should I see?” as he look towards the exit door behind him.
I say: “It’s fine, someone paid for my parking ticket. We can walk back to our lifegroup venue.”
Though until today, I have no evident to prove that I had an encounter with ‘Angel in Flesh’.
POINTS TO PONDER
God created Angels as a messenger to serve His people on earth. Sometimes when we are down and someone came out of nowhere to encourage you, or help you accomplish task you can not accomplish by yourself. Angels are Real and Working Actively in life of believers.
