From the past blog post, I have shared with you, how I received my calling, how I found my purpose in Christ. This blog will be sharing on how I started to grew in my sensitivity towards God.

After receiving the revelation that I was going to be a Prophetess. I was still clueless on how to grow myself into the office of the Prophet.

Then one day, we were informed by our leaders that three prophets from the United States are coming to Brisbane and will be doing a Presbytery Prophetic Ministering on the leaders and pastors. The leaders told us, if we are interested to be ministered by these Prophets, we should prepare ourselves by fasting and praying. Maybe, after the prophets had finished prophesying on the leaders, the prophets might turn to the crowd and prophesy to those who God wanted to encourage and edify.

Finally, the day arrived and I fasted for 3 days along with the leaders. I was really hoping that the prophets would point me out from the crowd to prophesy over me, what I should do. Yet, I wasn’t chosen to be prophesied by them.

So when the whole event was over, I walk to one of the prophetess and asked whether she could pray for me. She said: “Sure, Why not?” with a joyful heart. Then she laid her hands on me, and said: “I am seeing that you have ‘TIME’ in both your hands and God wanted you to use that ‘TIME’ to find and seek Him.” It was a really short prayer, but I was satisfied.

After that day, I earnestly and diligently seek God through His Bible each morning and each waking moment (while walking, taking the bus, or serving in Church), because I fear I might miss Him talking to me. Moreover, I also grew myself with reading a lot of Christian Living Books from authors such as Lisa Bevere, John Bevere, Rick Warren, John Maxwell, Jentezen Franklin and etc.

I can feel my spirit grew stronger and stronger each day, as I also practice Fasting, Interceding, and making God my priority of my Life.

Then one day, I wanted to see what it is like to wake up at 5 am to have my devotional time and use an extra 30 minutes to intercede for the Kingdom of God. In the first 4 days, I was motivated, until I reached the 5th day, I found waking up purposeless and felt a bit silly for waking up as I felt my action was fruitless.

So I went back to sleep after sitting at my desk for 5 minutes. While I was sleeping, I heard 3 different voices talking to each other, and it was so loud and clear that I thought I had radio DJs talking through the radio. ‘But hang on!’ I thought to myself, ‘I do not have a radio!?’

So in my bed (my eyes were half open and blurry ), I asked loudly, “Who are you guys?” Then the voices all stopped and it became solemn for a few seconds, and then came a reply by the three different voices, one by one they each take turns to say: “Love, Love, Love People”.

I immediately jumped out of bed because I knew three angels were waiting for me to pray and take my prayer scroll back to Heaven. I felt their presence brought light (my room was bright), peace, and freshness of God’s presence into the room. From that onwards, I never miss my devotional time at 5 am.

During those times of quietness and sitting at my appointed place to seek God. God opened up my eyes and released many great supernatural events of His Kingdom of Light into my life.

Angels were coming in and going out of my room in Brisbane, and there was this big window that it facing the blue sky (My room is located at Level 7). Then one day, while I was praying during the night, God opened up my eyes and I saw ladders of angels going up and down, from my window and linked up to Heaven.

Again, one morning, still in my sleep, I had this supernatural encounter. I saw 2 hands (the hands of an angel) arranging alphabets on top of my sight. When he was finished, I saw the word “Jotham”. I woke up and went to my laptop to Google this word I received, as I did not know what it was about, and whether what I saw was real. Then I saw the revelation I needed to know, “Yahweh is Perfect” or “Yahweh is Complete”.

In my amazement, that there was such a word that existed in the Bible, as I know during that season of time, God wanted me to know the plans He had for me were going to be ‘Perfect’, and before that incident, I also received a dream with a verse along with it. (John 10:10) The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But I have come to give life to the fullness. Whenever I am discouraged by life’s disappointment, the number 1010 will show up on the digital clock, car plate number, receipts, shop lot numbers, etc.

So having this word, is not a coincidence, and it was another word for me to carry in my heart, it is an encouragement and affirmation that God’s plan for my future will be 10 out of 10. Nothing will be lesser than what He intends to happen.

Therefore, I am convinced and would like to share with you that there are no shortcuts to growing in the knowledge of God, in the closeness of God. It takes commitment to seek God every day, it takes a hungry heart to have the discipline and excitement to come and seek God and read His Bible. God never fail to reward those who seek Him diligently, because He is already ‘the Reward’ when He comes to you. You will see the difference in you after every devoted time you spend seeking Him.

One of my friends asked me, “Hilary, how did you know what God wanted you to focus on every season of your life?” I pondered for a while, and I replied to her: “Every day when I seek God, it is like the Israelites going out to the desert to collect their Manna, likewise, every day when I pray and seek God, He will give me His spiritual Manna through His Words to guide me and show me where He wanted me to go.
