I moved the fifth time after I came to Brisbane, this time I lived with my spiritual mentor Sunnie and Nilla (another of our churchmate). Having to stay with them decreases a lot of spiritual attack. Hence, I got to learn from two mature woman of God about how to live a righteous Christian life.

God unveiled the Ultimate Calling of my life

One morning as I was doing my devotion in the morning, I saw a picture that came to life in front of me (It was later that I got to know God gave me a vision ).

I saw a left hand with 3 rings on 3 different parts of the 5 fingers. The first ring was the ring that I bought a few days ago, and it was on the index finger, the second ring was a ring that is so foreign to me and it was on the middle finger and lastly, my spiritual mentor ring was on the ring finger.

I did not understand, so after my devotional time, I went downstairs to talk to Nilla (My housemate), she had no idea what it meant as well. But she kept it in her heart.

That night was our Lifegroup prayer meeting, and one of our leaders, Isaac came out to share about the Five-fold ministry. He used his hands to explain to us what this five-fold ministry function in the church of God.

While I was listening, my housemate, Nilla made her way to me and nudged me. "Hilary, listen, I think it is relevant to the vision you had this morning." As I listened, my heart was filled fully with the presence of God, as if He has done His part of communicating to me the purpose He created me.

After that night, I was accountable to my own shepherd (Spiritual Mentor), without much doubt she encouraged me to grow in whatever God has called me to be and arranged me to join the intercessors group of the church and lifegroup. As she could see that I had the gift of intercession, in which she knew she had limited resources and ability to train me in, so putting me with the other mature intercessors might be the environment I could grow in.

However, my mentor never gave up on mentoring me each week with the Word of God. Hence, following up on how I am progressing with my gift of intercession and prophecy. She continuously encourage me to be hungry for the things of God.
